"In the middle of January, we went to this restaurant to celebrate my grandma's birthday. I have not been at Silky Apple before, but mum and grandma both enjoyed meals here sometimes.The welcome was very warm, friendly and we had nice conversations with some of the staff.We were very hungry so we went straight into ordering mains: garlic prawns, prawns with wasabi cream and a chicken & vegetable dish.Wow!The tastes of these meals were fantastic! We very much enjoyed every single bite and cleared out all the plates :)After a little bit of pleasant, relaxing times we then decided to try 2 different desserts. We let the waiter know and we were very excited to finish up with our delicious dinner with a bit of sweet.We waited for quite awhile.The staff was continuously passing by a few times clearing up tables around us, helping other customers choose their meals which was fine. We weren't in a hurry. Although we needed to keep reminding them that we'd like to order dessert. It seemed that they forgot that a few times.Finally we ordered our desserts.It took awhile to actually have our sweets on the table which was strange, as our main meals arrived quite at a good time after ordering.Desserts were delicious too though! When we decided to leave, I quickly went down to the reception area to pay.What I didn't like is, that I felt pressured by the staff to give extra tip.The restaurant is not cheap. We came for a little celebration and the meals we had were absolutely worth it, not to mention the fun gramma had for her birthday!Usually I'd give a tip because I want to, not because I need to.This left a bit of sour taste in my mouth.In the future, I'd definitely revisit this restaurant to give it another chance to earn my high stars, as the food was truly tasty"
