"Thank you to the couple of strangers we met on the Place de Miramont de Guyenne for pointing us to this charming restaurant in the heart of the Bastide d'Eymet. Henri IV was happy to seat his loves there. Warm welcome, fast and friendly service. The plates are delicious as can be. Very nice discovery. And think of the rums arranged as guest stars on the shelf We will come back"

"I came here with my partner to celebrate his birthday. We booked in advance and were seated in the lovely little courtyard it rained a bit but this wasn’t a problem as they had awnings to cover the seating area. Set menu had 3 4...options for each course and a member of staff talked us through all the dishes on a blackboard, which was a nice touch. The food was high quality, portions were generous and service was exemplary. For €39 per person, the 3 course meal was fantastic value for money. We had a brilliant evening and it was exactly the traditional “French Bistro” experience we were looking for."

"Having lived near the restaurant for 31/2 years and never going in due to the poor reputation, we went in today for the first time. We had reason to complain about the food but the waiter covered in sweat stained shirt front and back yuk ! came out and had a complete strop, whereas they could of corrected the problem for under a euro. He created a scene with a "tough you will have to pay for it now attitude " he went on for a few mins when we said just "forget it" At the end of the meal my husband said can I just say your customer service is truly rude and appalling and I will be letting people know on the internet . His answer was I was told to tell you that !!! As I said we live in the area and can say all the other pubs and restaurants in the area are far better and would recommend just as those on page two of these reviews have done to just AVOID the place ,"
