"We were slightly sceptical about how dinner would go, as the food came out before our drinks did. Luckily, once we got into the food all was forgiven! We ordered the paella balls, calameres, pork belly and a warm salad. The portions were more than generous, and everything was tasty and well balanced (which is hard to find in Perth! . The only minor negative was that we found the jug of sangria to be a little overpriced for the quantity, although it was delicious."

"I came to Maddison Cottage for my cousin's High Tea birthday party. On arrival, we were greeted by one of the very friendly and polite staff members. After we had a glance through the gorgeous gifts and knick-knacks on display by the front counter, we were shown to our seats towards the back of the cottage. We were amongst the most gorgeous display of shabby chic perfection- from mismatch furniture, gorgeous cutlery and a tea cup collection to die for. Before too long, we were offered a bottomless cup of tea- I chose a T2 White Geisha variety that was to die for! The food started coming out, so beautifully presented on tier trays and it felt like it didn't stop coming! From sandwich fingers to mini quiches, cakes and chocolates, with each new taste, our tastebuds were dancing! To make it even sweeter- all produce is sourced locally and cooked/baked/prepared on site! <br>
I cannot wait to return to Maddison Cottage- a High Tea Party fit for a Queen!

"The Lounge Room is a nice little cafe on Guildfords main coffee strip. I've been here a few times. It is quite intimate, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you're after. The staff are friendly. Drinks came out quickly and food not long after. Pancakes were amazing - fluffy and delicious, not too sugary either. No wow factor with the menu but they have a pretty good range for a small cafe!"

"Get brekky here at least every fortnight. One of the few places in Perth where breakfast is reasonably priced. I haven't experienced too much of the menu, but other dishes I see going to tables look just as good. I always grab the special breakfast (bacon, egg, sausage, hash brown, tomato, toast and coffee/tea) for just $16! And that's not even the biggest breakfast. Food has never disappointed. Service is always quick and staff are friendly. You can eat inside or outside, to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Guildford. Honestly one of the best breakfasts in Perth and for under $20."
