"Vegan foodie here and this is a hidden gem we came across. Sweetest people run this place. The chef said he will surprise us with a vegan meal plate and and boy was it delicious! To me felt like soul food Salad, fried eggplant, chickpeas curry, fried bitter gourd, mixed vegetable hash and rice. Thankful for such a lovely experience "

"It is a cafe in Kamakura Museum near Kamakura Station. You can enjoy Japanese culture with your mouth and eyes. Desserts will be served after meals upon request. On this day, we chose Chiffon Cake, Matcha Pudding and Cosy. However, if you are vegan, you need to properly instruct the staff as the above is not vegan specifications. I don’t want to take animal products, but I said there was no coffee jelly cream. I picked soup from kelp and shiitake, but it was very deep and delicious!"

"My boyfriend and I made reservations and visited this restaurant, the directions for which we found on Happy Cow. The staff was really friendly and accommodating and tried to explain things in English the best she could. It is a traditional Japanese restaurant (remove shoes, floor style seating). They offer a few set menus, that are pricey but we enjoyed the way that they served the menu. They have wheat-meat in one of the dishes that we ate and it was delicious we also liked the fried tofu pouch soup. I don't remember what it was called but we were fighting over it towards the end. (not really fighting) The vibe was really cool, we got to try a lot of new foods."

"Cheap and good (especially the lunch menu) and on top of that the staff is very helpful and kind. They're kind enough to remove the bacon if you're vegetarian."
