"Visit glastonbury and in the pilgrims on the farewell on Sunday of the Mother's Day was very pleased that they had burst. I ordered the bratbeef. meal quickly came to wait less than 10min and it was colorful! red cabbage, spring green, carrots, pancakes, frying, cauliflower and a huge Yorkshire pid as well as a huge part of delicate bark meat. very impressed by eating, service and will eat definitiw again there"

"A warm friendly welcome here from staff. The building has lots of character, Great food. On Thursdays they have live music in the evening, booking advised, tho we managed to get a table for two early evening at short notice."

"During the viewing of glastonbury, many restaurants were closed on Monday/Tuesday, the peking palace was the only Chinese place. they did not have a website/online menu so did not know what was there, but called and managed to put an order. the owner had not amazing English so was not very easy, but he was very accommodating. Eating was extremely fast, they only accept cash that I found out when I'm back, like no online presence again. eating was extremely large portions and very tasty, not too sweet or artificial. cook a menu brochure with my order to house and would have liked to know the menu before order, as I definitely see the look of some of the items that they do not see on typical almost food Chinese menus. just a scandal I couldn't find online."

"This jewel found on a recent trip to Great Britain from the usa, great hospitality, owner chef was amazing and eating was top note british pub standard. a rare tasty bite if they are ever past in the opposite and soothe their taste bud with their homemade joys."

"The Swan Hotel has a glitzy decor in what is an historic building with a tremendous view of the Cathedral. With a lovely outside seating area which goes straight onto The Green. We were looking forward to a meal in the restaurant with friends, which we were assured was locally sourced and cooked to order but it was sadly disappointing. The pork was overcooked and the chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream was extremely dry and put one in mind of a school dinner! With a set price of £25 for two courses it was not what we expected!"
