"We had read good things about the sister restaurant, “La Sorgente”, as a result of a review in the Times, and so we booked deli Frati on the first night of our holiday.... We were amazed to be met with antipathy on the part of the staff,.... apparently being Inglesi makes us a target of xenophobia by the waiters and chefs alike.... we do our best to speak Italian , but of course it is not in the local dialect.... what is worse, the food was poor and we were at no stage invited to have a complementary digestif, as the other Customers were....."

"Seafood portions are minimal and low quality compared to other options in the area. Value for money extremely poor. We watched the owner squabble multiple times with her staff. But the icing on the cake was when she took what she thought were our un-used utensils and put them in the clean ones for new customers. She didn’t even check to see if they were dirty and we had used all of them. As we went to pay, she said “If you hadn’t paid now I would have had to ask you to leave because I have a second turn”we had been there for 1hr and 20 mins”. All of this- tiny appetizer, 2 pasta dishes, 2 glasses of house wine and one dessert can be yours for 82€! Best to avoid."

"We arrived in this restaurant around 22, the place was very full but despite this, the owner found us a place. While not having a vegetarian menu offered me a mix of vegetables with baked potatoes and some pieces of cheese. It's okay then even if the bill was a little high."
