"Super delicious fresh fish. The best thing is to choose between pan preparation or highly recommended to prepare the fish via charcoal. The service is very friendly, courteous and attentive. There are five stars for this place. Only for the beautiful ambience that feels right after vacation on sunny days. We're coming back!"

"Wine trip very recommended. 1A regional wines selected with love. Variations of the flame cake as well as the pre- and aftertaste were very delicious and have adapted very well to the wines. The ambience is visually a dream. We're definitely coming back."

"Because the restaurant in our hotel was closed the receptionist recommended this place. Unfortunately it was only outdoor seating but we were lucky because it wasn’t a cold evening. It was self service for drinks and the food was brought to the table. Between of us our friends had Tagliatelle, chicken with dumplings with a garden salad and we had ½ a duck each, served with red or white cabbage and dumplings. The food was finger licking good and the portions were generous. Apart from Beijing this was the best duck we ever had. We would go back to Schweinfurt just to eat in the Naturfreundehaus again. Absolutely worth trying!"

"Ich war heute zum ersten Mal im Brick House und hatte einige Erwartungen, da das Lokal einen guten Ruf genießt.Leider bin ich enttäuscht. Wir hatten Burger, Home Fries, Guacamole und einen Tomaten-Avocado Salat. Das Fleisch war geschmacklos und der Bacon eher trocken anstatt knusprig. Immerhin waren die geschmolzenen Zwiebeln, die Soße, die frischen Zutaten und das Brötchen an dem Burger lecker. Die Home Fries haben leider nach nicht viel geschmeckt und waren nicht knusprig, sondern relativ weich, wie gebackene Kartoffelstreifen. Die Guacamole war einwandfrei. Der Salat war in Ordnung, hatte mir allerdings unter einem Tomaten-Avocado Salat einen Salat vorgestellt, bei dem tatsächlich Avocado Stücke vorzufinden sind, was nicht der Fall war. Die Avocado war eher wie eine Art Dipp untergemischt. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich als Getränk einen frischen Granatapfel-Himbeer-Eistee hatte und der war super! Ebenfalls positiv war, dass wir relativ schnell unser essen bekamen.Im Endeffekt würde ich für das Essen direkt nicht wiederkommen, sondern eher um ein paar Cocktails zu trinken und die Desserts zu probieren."

"We stumbled over this restaurant, 1 vegetarian and 3 meat eaters, and it was perfect. From the moment we went, we felt welcome and were visited at once, and the restaurant was almost full. After talking to the server/daughter, we realized that it was owned and ran. This was obviously in the care and attention you do not receive on larger chains. The food was delicious. I live in London, which has its fair share of Indian restaurants, and I definitely eat my share of Indian food, and that was absolutely delicious. For all four of us! I ate at Vera Swamey in Piccadilly Circus, which claims to be the best and not in London, and it was delicious, but certainly not better, and definitely not a good value. I loved the visit and the food and had returned when we found the restaurant earlier. I ate chicken and a red lentil soup. My partner ate a vegetarian discourse court... I forget the name. We loved everything. The service was also exceptional!"

"While on a tour of the Christmas Markets in December we spent two nights in Schweinfurt. One of these nights we had the pleasure of dining at Buon Gusto. Four of us were in our party and all had excellent meals. I wish I could remember the name of Italian dish I had (believe it was the bolognese noodle roll) as it was outstanding. For wine we had a bottle of Montepulciano D Abruzzo which complemeted our dinner quite well. Claudia, who I believe to be the owner, stopped and visited with us multiple times and was a very enjoyable person. Nice atmosphere, great food, good wine, friendly staff.....priceless."

"Four of us ate at the Taj Mahal, each for the first time. The first impression is that this is not your ordinary Indian restaurant. Without pretending to be more than it is, the Taj is nicely decorated. Mirrors give the impression of a larger capacity. Tables are irregularly placed and afford more privacy than the standard grid placement. Table settings bridge the gap between Standard and Up-Scale. All of us are fans of Indian food. The menu offerings are ample for all tastes. What was missing were Indian beers which I feel are an important compliment to the cuisine.Two of us ordered from the Tandoori offerings, one from the vegetarian list and the fourth a spicy Murgh. All were pleased with their own food. I sampled from each and found none lacking. The breads were a small disappointment and were perhaps average, at best. We had various beverages, several breads, but no deserts. Our total cost, including standard tip, was 65€. To my thinking, this makes the Taj Mahal one of the best food values in Schweinfurt."
