"Really disappointed in this place. Went for a family meal here as they had a couple of vegan options on the menu, but when ordering I was told the tart didn 't turn up on the delivery . Fair enough, I chose the only other vegan option available which was the super bowl salad (description below). Five minutes late they came out to say they have no quinoa, do I want rice instead? I said yes. When it came out it was just a plate of plain cooked vegetables with a dollop of houmous, no dressing or sauce and no rice. When I asked the staff seemed really pissed off and came back with my plate with a spoonful of plain white, very wet, rice added on top. A baby spinach, pea, soya bean, quinoa, chickpea kale mixed salad, with slow-roasted tomatoes, almond pesto tomatoes, broccoli, avocado and red pepper sesame houmous, with an omega sesame seed sprinkle. "We were in London, and met up with your daughter for a Lunch. The menu looked good and we were all looking forward to it. Our daughter is vegetarian, so we thought this would be OK, but there wasn’t a veggie set menu. The food was OK but not as good as we have had elsewhere. No of the dishes was inedible (chilli beef, which was rock hard strips of gooey beef that was impossible to eat), with mentioned this to the waitress, who just said she would ‘mention’ it to the chef! Probably won’t go there again."

"I found the food and the choice very well. some of my less adventurous related could not find any precursors that appealed. the service was very friendly and the restaurant flourished with activity. some other diners might have eaten more alcohol than others and the noise was sometimes exaggerated. overall we were satisfied with the quality and quantity of food and the service of the personal."

"Nice place to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink or two watching the world go by. The gentle rock on the water can cause you to feel as if you had a few too many if you did not, so not somewhere I would recommend more than a few alcoholic beverages (I could only feel that it moves more than others! , but you can enjoy happy a few hours here. Very friendly bar staff, door staff also friendly. It did not eat, but the food seemed good to go, comfortably served in take boxes. Very popular and you can see why."

"Such a great location right by the river, we had lunch and sat inside next to a log fire as it was cold outside ! Had one of their sandwich specials, Buttermilk chicken sandwich with chunky fries and a soft drink, all for the special price of £9.50. The food arrived promptly and the sandwich was huge with a generous portion of chips, very enjoyable ! The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back for more !! Thank you to The Anglers !"
