"Gows is the pits. I had just dinner at gows, was so bad I actually logged in to create an account to post this. the personal was inconspicuous, our table became with glasses that already half drunk drinks in them, they forget our drinks, etc. overall disappointing, but fortunately with relaxed people. to round it off, it is for mediocre/poor quality food that leaves me with a stomach pain. agree with other reviewers that I would rather have mcds from leberpool st st st stn than eating at this place. never again too many restaurants in the opposite order to sacrifice a meal."

"Close to the railway station liverpool street in the city, but not occupied by an evening. good bar in the upper floor and a quiet restaurant in the ground floor, in the evening, contrasted pleasantly with some of the noisier city places for an evening. excellent for fish and oyster."

"We were in London, and met up with your daughter for a Lunch. The menu looked good and we were all looking forward to it. Our daughter is vegetarian, so we thought this would be OK, but there wasn’t a veggie set menu. The food was OK but not as good as we have had elsewhere. No of the dishes was inedible (chilli beef, which was rock hard strips of gooey beef that was impossible to eat), with mentioned this to the waitress, who just said she would ‘mention’ it to the chef! Probably won’t go there again."

"This was without question the worst meal I have ever had. The bread was a couple of days old and had been microwaved to give it freshness, but within secs it was rock solid again. The King prawns that were no more than shrimps and were that awful grey with a watery garlic oil that I actually had to spit out, and I have never had whitebait of such poor quality. Saying that the service was good and the wine drinkable! I feel like I choose badly, and am sure there are some nice things on the menu, but we just lucked out. It was so bad that we didn't even bother complaining as my daughter and I were just laughing so much. Good luck"
