"After randomly selecting this cafe for breakfast on a recent trip to Melbourne had to come back to double check. Fantastic quality and portion sizes for very reasonable prices and the best scrambled eggs I have eaten in years! The staff were friendly and efficient and the restaurant was clean and warm despite the gale force winds outside.Plenty of vegan options, one of our group ordered the 'fifty shades of green' and while I don't normally go for vegetables for breakfast, I am extremely tempted to order this myself the next time we visit."

"We went to cafe cavallino for dinner on our holiday to melbourne. Walked in because it was crowded and looked good. We placed our orders and waited. I ordered white wine and my husband red. They brought 2 red wines. When i said i asked for white the waiter said don't touch the wine if its not yours. Later my husband ordered meat ball pasta. They brought a meat ball pizza and put it on the table. When we said that's not what we ordered the same waiter asked very rudely why then did we accept the order. We didn't. Another person left it there and left. John carlos the waiter is very very rude.truthfully was friendly to everyone else. Seemed extremely racist to me and spoiled our dining experience completely. The waitress sarah was sweet and tried to over compensate.Never go there."

"We have had dubner here tonight. .. great experience i am having pork skewers and rice vermicelli noodles and my hubby is having beef combination Pho. Both excellent. Great decor and attentive staff. Highly recommend tou five it a try."

"You are only getting one because I can't give you zero. Rubbish service and poor attitude. Ordered pizza and pasta our friends finished their pizza and we still don't have our pasta. They need to teach their waiters some basic courtesy and customer service techniques. Saying the kitchen is being hammered is not an excuse. Getting four meals for four people on the table at the one time is service 101! Happy to discuss with the restaurant. Send me a message Doubt you will!"

"Visited with family for Chinese new year celebration. Attended 1:45 session. Table on top floor, furthest from where trolleys enter room. By time trolleys arrived at our table ‘sold out’ of many staples for a family no pork or custard steamed buns, no calamari, no pork puff or pork dumpling, no mango mochi. Very disappointing."
