"Pleasantly surprised how good it was to eat! there is a certain level of taste that I expect with Indian food, here in the Usa. mostly it floats to disappoint with the assumption that it will never taste as good as home. but royal india entered above this level. I have the veg kadai with wiper, garlic naan and brown rice. I asked for a spicy veg kadai and I didn't get rawpaprika added on the vegetables to make it spicy. I have a taste of sharp meaning that the paprika was boiled in the curry. the garlic naan was thin, opaque and well made. the brown rice was quite decent. I have used uber eats to get the food, so can not comment where and service. But eating was definitely better than many Indian restaurants that I have tried in medium-sized cities."

"An unassuming restaurant. But boy, the best tasting daal I’ve ever had in the us. Daal Makhni in the us is typically laden in fatty oil/butter. But this place has Daal that took me back to the taste of Daal in dhabas in India. I’m from Dallas and I haven’t tasted anything this good. Very authentic place if you’re looking for Punjabi food. Such a hard working family. If you’re in Eugene, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. I know I wasn’t."

"Excellent Greek restaurant, which also features some Indian dishes on the menu. We ordered Saganaki (fried cheese), which was served with several wedges of homemade bread, a gyro, and kota psiti. All were outstanding. The tzatziki sauce was delicious. The staff was attentive, and as warm and inviting as the decor!"
