"Wir haben bei Groupon schon viel erlebt (z.B. Restaurants, die nach Reservierung plötzlich geschlossen waren, sowohl endgültig oder vorübergehend, ständig falsche Angaben über den Gutscheinwert). Aber was wir am 11.08.2015 erlebt haben, werden wir so schnell nicht vergessen.Wir hatten zwei Tage zuvor einen Tisch für 10.00 Uhr im Ristorante Picobello in Braunschweig reservieren lassen. Dort angekommen fing es noch harmlos an. Wir betraten das Lokal, das nicht gerade einladend aussah, aber sei's drum, geschenkt! Es waren zwei Tische mit jeweils 4 Frauen besetzt. Es war niemand vom Personal zugegen, der einen begrüßte. Nach ca. 10 Minuten ging ich in die Küche und machte mich dort lautstark bemerkbar. Keine Antwort, es war niemand da!Zurück im Lokal erklärte uns eine Dame (Gast), dass die Butter alle war und die Bedienung gerade unterwegs ist um welche zu besorgen. Ein paar Augenblicke später erschien dann ein Mann mit Butter.Zuvor hatten wir das Büfett inspiziert, wir hatten ja genug Zeit. Dort befanden sich 3 Platten mit billigem Käse, Kochschinken (Formfleisch) und Lachsschnipzel, Weizenbrötchen und ein Schale mit eingepackter Marmelade. Das war alles. Kein Spur von den im Gutschein versprochenen Crossants, Honig, Nutella, Cornflakes, Müsli, Bacon. Ganz zu schweigen vom Obst, Säfte, Kakao und Mineralwasser. Beim Kaffee und Tee gehe ich einmal von aus, dass man dies wie auch die Eierspeisen beim Personal bestellen kann.Ich machte dem Mann klar, dass es so nicht ginge. Den Gast anlocken mit einem reichhaltigem Angebot und dann über die Hälfte nicht anbieten. Ich halte das für Betrug zumindest aber arglistige Täuschung.Wir haben daraufhin das Lokal verlassen ohne den Gutschein einzulösen und dem Herrn gesagt, dass er noch von uns hören wird. Gefrühstückt haben wir dann woanders. Auf seiner Facebookseite befinden sich Fotos vom Frühstücksbüfett, wie es eigentlich aussehen soll. Aber die Realität ist weit davon entfernt. Bei der Bewertung hauptsächlich gute Bewertungen ohne einen Kommentar dazu. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass der Inhaber Freunde gebeten hat diese Bewertungen abzugeben. Die drei negativen Bewertungen spiegeln da schon eher die Realität wieder."

"Visited this place yesterday evening with my family, wife has been here twice before. Was promptly given a table without a reservation! Service on the ball, switched on, attentive and prompt. We all had a pizza, portions well above normal and above all tasted top. Ambient was sound, décor suits the surroundings and was well visited by a plethora of people from all age groups. Cant concur with some of the other negative comments, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and found the price for our meal reasonable. Above all, good restaurant and will be visiting again."

"Visited on 25.03.2016, table reservation for four people, a gaster vegetarian who da piero can be found in a brownish mascherode. the restaurant is located in an old department store at the entrance of the mascherode. parking spaces belonging to the restaurant are not available. the restaurant itself consists of two apartments in which 80 guests can find space after homepage. restaurant well visited, with increasing arrival by other guests, very cramped. I had expected an authentic Italian restaurant due to the good reviews. the two gas rooms were very narrow due to the many tables. a table decoration, such as flowers or candles, was not present. after our arrival in the da piero we were led from a waiter to our table and left ourselves. after some time a young lady seemed to bring us the menus. the menu included, to our surprise, almost exclusively meat and fish dishes. the selection of pasta (three at the number) and salads (two possibilities) I did not get enough. the choice of the diner was a bit difficult for us, as dishes of typical Italian cuisine were not offered on the menu. the possibility to avoid even the fuss when ordering a pizza did not exist, since pizza is not offered in this restaurant. it passed some time until a waiter appeared to accept our order. served after another 25 minutes. dishes tastefully ok, the portions were very clear. mixed salad for 6,00 euro in very small portion. the three ice balls for 4,50 euro were served in a white dish without love and little appetit. because the content of our counter could not be called luxurious, a murical operation appeared very fast, which extinguished the shamelessly. we got another drink order just before the bill. Conclusion: who expects a typical Italian restaurant with a good selection of different dressed and places that are appreciated on gastfreundschaft is on the place da piero miss. too many tables for too many guests, and the less appealing environment does not allow a comfortable factor. the menu offers little choice and the portions are really very clear. I would call the prices too expensive. price performance is not consistent. easyness of the personal: (we were served by four different employees) very impersonal and word-written, unfriendly and merciful, the menu on the homepage is no longer up to date the prices have been partially increased."

"Yesterday i had my dinner here with my friends. Very nice place, good view of the city. The wine and the plate was nice. Not enough choice in the menu, though. It was already late and for this it was getting dark. The small chandle...on the table was not enough to see what we were eating. I think that music and some other details like small lights were missing for a such nice place"
