"Went there for lunch - quite great experience when you come by at the waiting time (also after reservations, the place is very packed). Had the classic Ricotta Hotcakes - quite delicious, but something Fad, so I have it with fried chicken and bacon to give the classic Yank chicken and waffles, and it did not disappoint! Well thought-out interior and great execution as a whole. Would visit again !!"

"We enjoyed our dinner here, wondering if their clientele is made up of Americans pining for a taste of home, Australians who'd never tried American food, or some of each. The menu covered some American classics (burgers, ribs, shakes) as well as some that are less popular but certainly intriguing (chicken and waffles) but there's definitely something for everyone. You can order everything a la carte, so that you can choose which meats, how much, and how many sides you want. Our table was right in front of the table where the plates were put together, and there was a mirror above so that we could see what the chef (owner?) was putting out. Every meat portion was weighed, so you got exactly what you paid for. Well presented, tasty, and certainly true to American fare, we enjoyed it - and enjoyed looking around at the decor to see what locals thought depicted American diners."

A positive experience in Newtown is what's going on here. It's more a whole in the wall, "Coles Express" version of the beloved Diners I know, but the look and the feeling of everything is there. The homewecker Hot Dog was selected purely because I wanted to say the name, and this place is right in Oxford Street. It was good, that's safe, and the cream cheese and the chunky loads on the DAWG make that more than just a common hot dog. As for the price - not quite convinced if you compare it with other burgers with other burger, chicken waffle elements that I had in the menu. Even the curly fries are in my opinion better than this. Buddy had the Veggie Burger, who apparently has a kick, and vegetarian standards was an impressive and more than just a token offer. Grief"

"Cute little cafe. There is a nice little balcony out the front to watch the world go by (if you're lucky enough to find a seat there, there aren't many. Inside has a cosy and homely feel. I didn't try any of the food but the waffles look fun! The coffee is nice, on the stronger side, which I personally like. The coffee was well priced too."

"Came here on the weekend for lunch and easily found a table. I recommend getting the raclette cheese on top of a burger or veggies if you are a cheese lover. Well worth the calories! The loaded fries, golden gaytime shake and onion rings were my favourite sides. I tried the ribs too, however, they were a little dry for my liking. Staff were helpful in explaining the menu and I'll be back for more burgers soon."
