"I had an appointment in Leavenworth, and when I was leaving, I saw a flyer from Leavenworth Main Street listing Leavenworth’s eateries. On the list was First City Cheese Market. In the listing, I read, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches… of course I was hooked!I arrived shortly before lunch. I chose the FCCM, (4 Cheese) which had a delectable white cheddar, yellow cheddar, Parmesan, and Gruyère. On sourdough. The bread was crispy and buttery on the outside, soft on the inside and the cheese! My goodness! Look at the pictures. That’s all I can say.They served it with a potato salad that was perfectly dressed and hinted of bacon. Two of my favorite things in one meal. Bacon. Cheese. Wow!Let me tell you about the people working there. They have a really nice vibe. There’s a light conversation behind the counters as they work together. They’ve got great music playing. It felt really comfortable just sitting there by myself reading the news while I waited for sandwich. They also have kitchen utensils, sauces, mixes, etc. available. Overall, it’s just a great place to stop in, especially if you like grilled cheese!"

"Ice is always a good idea! The words are nice and friendly. It's a business. There are no more seats, so you can either find seats outside the building or eat on the walkway or walk. It becomes loud with many people and hard to talk to the workers. Good food. A bad design."

"Food safe DID brings me to a good mood! Best latte in town, I tried a few and the last day, stopped here, I wish I had just come here! I have a simple waffle, but it was delicious and her homemade whipped cream was JUST the touch. Everything was delicious and quick. I would point out that some tourists came in and the staff did not say hello or welcome, but I am from Texas, maybe this is just normal. Then I realized they hadn't greeted me until I waited for order. Nevertheless, they knew how to make a great latte and delicious food. Someone came to order a bunch of their breakfast stuff, so I bet they were also delicious!"

"Had the country Benedict, flavors were noticeable, the biscuit had a great texture a good taste, but needed to be roasted or warmed. everything necessary to be warmer from the kitchen, the California Benedict my wife had only a sliced English muffin on it, it wasn't even tortured.. I like to give you a possibility of a big or small portion I should have ordered a small one because I take home with me. I would definitely recommend coming back."

"Great place! Excellent, friendly, service… Chris in the bar was extremely personable and cheerful! Just what we needed after a stressful couple of days! If you can sit in the fireplace/couch area in the bar you will be in a very cool little oasis. Wings and pretzel were great!"

"Tried almond cringle, lemon danish, apple strudel and raspberry cream cheese strudel. I particularly liked almond cringle, I wish I ordered more of them but not a fan of other items. Service is pretty quick and the place has a nice ambience."
