"We have tried Denny's in the US and it wasn't really impressive...We tried the one in Uptown Mall and we were not too happy with our dining experience. There were winner items and there were disappointing ones too..Nachos and fried mozzarella were good appetizers and we thought that dinner would be promising. The Filipino tapa breakfast was okay. A niece said the porkchops were yummy. The pancakes were American style - huge, round, but the batter is almost like bread! We expected a fluffy and light one. The hash browns were not the usual ones. They looked more like fritters. Bacon was crispy and delightful. The Chicken philly steak sandwich was yummy. Though it seemed that it still needed more filling to it. Perhaps more chicken and vegetables. Sandwiches like this are usually bursting with ingredients. The Cheeseburger we ordered took forever to serve! Almost everyone at the dinner table was done with their food till after numerous follow-ups that the cheeseburger arrived. Size was huge too! Be ready to pay an average of P600 per head when you dine here.Best to come when no one else is here. When the restaurant gets full, service and kitchen suffer."

"Looking for a place to relax after having lunch during a work day. I ended up here in the Subspace, which is located in the Ortigas Center. The place is a bit hidden and not overcrowded even during peak hours. Unfortunately, they have limited seating and the space is a bit crammed. The air conditioning for the whole place is also slightly different as it only has (2) split air conditioning and the other is closed when there are only a few customers in the house. They recommended their Iced Lemon Green Tea as one of their top selling drinks on the menu. It was ok in my opinion, but nothing special about the drink. The drink was a little poor value for money as there was a lot of ice putted into the drink."

"It would be impossible to check waffos without comparing it with his direct competitor, famous belgian waffles, and I say that waffos comes up. the most remarkable thing they first notice is of course price, waffos is 2-3x more expensive, but I feel like it justifies that because I get 2-3x more waffel. it is much bigger and thicker than the other, and above all, that this crispy outside I look for in a Belgian waffel. if you waffel is not crispy, this is just a well-made pancake, that is a legitimate waffel. this is something that can be good for two while the other is definitiw for one. that are two versions of the same thing and I...read more"

"We loved their strawberry bingsu! It not only looked good, but tasted good too! The serving was pretty big and the ice was nice and fine. It had pineapples and strawberries, which tasted fresh and went well together. The corn flakes and mochi balls were also yummy, and gave completely different textures and flavors which kept the dish interesting. All of that, was topped with vanilla ice cream, which we enjoyed very much. We thought that the milk which we had to pour over the dessert tasted wonderful, so much that we even asked for more. If your bingsu is not served with milk, be sure to ask for it. We will definitely be back to try the other flavors. <br>

"Me and my officemates tried this place out earlier. Good thing we went out early for lunch because by the time we ordered and got seated, there were no more tables available since the place is really small. It can only take up around 30 people max I think.<br>

We got the Beef Pie, Chick N' Barbie, Minestrone and Darling A La Mode for dessert. We also availed of their free upsize for the Arvo iced tea. (Yay!)<br>

I loved the Beef Pie. Although my officemate said it was too pepper-y for her. But for me it was just right. The Chick N' Barbie is just fries topped with chicken bits and bbq sauce. The chicken was good though the serving is a little too small for P150. The Minestrone was disappointing. Sayang. We actually wanted to order the pasta bowls but it was out of stock. <br>

The winner for me was the iced tea! I loved it. It had that bitterness that I like. I also loved the brownie that came with the Darling A La Mode. It was really sweet so I think the serving was just right for 3 people. <br>

Overall, it was OK. I would probably order the beef pie and iced tea again since those were the ones that I really loved. Oh and I wanna try their milkshakes! <br>

Service was good. Since the place is small, there was only one guy assisting all of the tables and the rest were in the kitchen. <br>

PS: Came back again for dinner here and ordered the Sausage Roll and Iced Tea(Again! So you can tell I really loved it.). The sausage roll is actually just ground pork wrapped in pastry. It tasted good. A little dry but it was OK."

"Diner on 16th is one of those places that gained popularity due to their infamous chicken waffle. <br>

I have never heard of them before nor their chicken waffles hence i kept an open mind during my visit. And besides I haven't eaten a lot of chicken waffles in my lifetime<br>

Wait...Fireside's version is different right? No...okay. <br>

Scratch that off, I've had chicken multiple times, waffles not so much. But I've never had chicken and waffles at the same time. <br>

The place is of moderate size. No fancy furniture. Typical diner set-up. And it reminds me of place where kids would go after school.<br>

Waffle Florentine (Php 350). 3 pieces buttermilk fries chicken, classic waffles, poached eggs, spinach, bacon & hollandaise sauce. Okay, i was surprised to see "buttermilk" on the menu because the chicken doesn't taste like the ones I've had in Fireside. Think of it as regular fried chicken sans seasoning. The waffles is mediocre (I've had better). Saving grace of the dish is the bacon (buti na lang may bacon kundi olats na ????) and the poached eggs. Ze eggs were cooked perfectly.<br>

"Kettle is one of our favorite restaurant in Shang. The portions of one order of their buttermilk chicken can feed 2-3 in our family. Im not so much a chicken-person but with Kettle, I become one. I love how their chicken can be crunchy outside yet super moist inside. I like the corn muffins at their SM Aura branch better though.

"Nothing special. Long waiting time, relatively expensive food for the price. We wasted 900 for 3 people and nobody seemed happy.<br>

"When I have my staycation at a hotel nearby, I always want it to be relaxing and comfortable. And Pancake House is without a doubt my place to chow on some comfort-food. This branch is actually walking distance to the hotel I staycation at. For years, especially in my young childhood ones, many a times my family went to eat at Pancake House. It may have been for any random reason, or even no reason at all, my mom just took us there, and it was always a wonderful experience. Eating at Pancake House brings back those wonderful memories. Pretty nostalgic. Without a doubt, at least 90% of the time, I order the Salisbury Steak. Before, I would totally mix everything (with an adults help)...read more"
