"This place was absolutely amazing! The service was nothing short of perfect; we were sitter quickly and our order was taken quickly, our server was also friendly, helpful, and patient when we weren't sure what we wanted. The ambience inside is low-key and intimate with vibrantly colored plants and a view of the kitchen from the inside dining area. This place truly exemplifies the vibe of the area. Now for the good stuff, the food: We had crispy fried green beans, warm house bread, a bottle Coke, and peach tea to start. The green beans were light and crispy and the sauce they came with tasted amazing. The bread was like a little warm cloud served on a board. It was obviously served right when it was done and the difference was clear, this bread was delicious! For our main entrees we had the Cardiff crack burger with truffle fries and the Encontro burger with chips. One bite of the Cardiff crack burger and it's clear it really lives up to the name. The meat was juicy, tender, and endlessly flavorful. This was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. The Encontro burger was also amazing, the sauce was perfectly balances and the brioche bun was airy and delicious. The meat on this burger was also cooked perfectly and oh so juicy! To finish off the night we enjoyed the butte cake--this thing was no joke! We ordered it after it was highly recommended by our server and it was served so aesthetically with delicious fruit puree adorning the plate. The cake itself was rich and sweet. The ice cream on top was the perfect compliment and it was a perfect end to a great night at Encontro! I recommend this place to anyone looking for something delicious and the variety to choose from."

"Had a good meal at Wright's. Would have given it a higher rating if you could eat the room! Good brussel sprout salad, nice scallop dish and beautifully presented chocolate torte for dessert. Service was a little spotty for a restaurant of this caliber"

"It 's always a treat to go to WK Hearth. Its ambiance is inventive hip and authentic farm décor. The wines are a great draw I always find a wine that impresses me, and I have to take a bottle home at a great discount! They have multiple tasting flights and imaginative descriptions of the wines to shape your tasting experience. I 'm always interested in what the chef will be featuring really, really good local ingredients make for a delightful, delicious find each time. I have to say that the service is exceptional as well. It is so hard to find quality service these days the waitstaff who are pleasant, cheerful, knowledgeable, who clear the table and fill water glasses (with filtered water at the right time, give you a new fork and knife for your entrée (instead of saying, save your fork! , check back on you without intruding, and without making you wait forever if you need something. Just really well trained in fine dining service. Love it."

"Bravo Melissa! M. Georgina is still new so some of the slight lapses in service while noted, are really forgiven. As the kinks get worked out, I believe the friendly and knowledgeable service staff will excel. The food was inventive, beautifully presented and a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. We ordered the 7 course (although it seemed to be more) tasting menu which allowed a broad sampling of items Including 2 dessert tastings) which we might not have ordered a al carte for a very reasonable price. Cocktails were highly creative using some unique ingredients, well combined. With the caveat that I am not an LA native, but from the stodgier east coast, the only criticism is that the wine list while offering plenty of wines under 100 did not represent good value. Once the price of a bottle exceeds double retail I get unhappy. So a 20 30 bottle selling in the 60 95 range really seems wrong. Maybe its the local market but it kept us in cocktails instead. In the end, a great experience."
