"Having seen the rave reviews I was super excited to secure a last minute table online. Easy enough to find on the high street with on street parking pretty much outside. Buzzy atmosphere and attentive (thankfully not overly familiar) service. Food was good not outstanding maybe I'd hyped myself up to expect utterly amazing? I can't even remember exactly what we ordered now. I definitely had the Casarecce pasta all'arrabbiata, as veggie main choices were a little limited. My favourite thing was in fact the two glasses of delicious red wine that made me a little giggly!"

"The staff were friendly and fantastic massage. It was a beautiful setting. Food was lovely and felt relaxed. Few things to be tweaked. New, long fluffy robes. It was cold during my massage and throughout my stay. Showers in our building did not work well. Bigger and bubblier hot tub. I wd def go back."

"We did not stay overnight, only visited the restaurant, so my review is strictly on that. 1) I ordered ribeye steak medium) and it was over cooked, cold, and had steak sauce on top when it arrived I did not ask for steak sauce on my steak. Vegetables that it came with were cold as well 2) My wife ordered sour cherry pirogies, and they didn’t bother to tell us that they couldn’t make that until they were already bringing all of our other orders to our table. They offered a substitute, which we waited for, but also never arrived. This is the worst experience I had at a restaurant in a while. This place does have potential, but someone needs to step up and manage it, as it seems like it is not being managed at all! Giving this place a 1 star solely on the restaurant, as we did not stay over night. "It was bland. It wasn't awful nor was it good. But for the price I'd have expected more. The staff seem nice enough but overall this place seems quite soulless. I'd probably return here for drinks since it's a nice enough looking establishment. But with its loss of personality over the years, I'd not want to take anyone here for anniversary type events etc."

"We have stayed here for two nights in one of there premier rooms. The apartment is well equipped and spacious offering excellent views of the North downs. The facility offers restaurant dinning and also a takeaway pizza service. We took advantage of both and were not disappointed. Situated in the heart of Wye village the Kings Head offers a magnificent option for staying in a quiet and quaint English village."
