"Very dissapointing. Vegetables must have been in a bain marie for and hour all soggy and watery; rice was dried out. Even the orange garnish had been around to a day or two. That's 2 bad asian meals in France now. NO MORE."

"On a hot evening, we were glad to be able to eat in the courtyard as the interior of the restaurant was stifling. The tables were more or less full and based on our experience it is best to make a reservation. The ambiance was...very pleasant and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was of good quality, well cooked and very tasty. Portions were adequate for us. The wine list is quite expensive and reasonably priced, concentrating on Italian wines. Definitely worth a second visit."

"I thought I would never again find a restaurant like this. Reasonable prices- 21 Euro for a 3 course lunch, super service, pleasant surroundings and wonderful French food. It used to be easy to find restaurants like this- but now they are few and far between. We were spending the day in Clerment Ferrand prior to going to Puy le Dome, and wanted a real lunch. And, that is what we found at Amphitryon Capuchine. A bit out of the main center, but easily walkable. Reserve if you can as it is small and he food is wonderful!"
