"I reviewed this restaurant a couple of years ago and I'm pleased to say that it is as good as it was then. The menu is creative without being over the top and the wine list gives you an excellent choice at sensible prices, we had a red wine produced in the Auvergne, which was very good, €16. There is an excellent menu of the day at €16.90. It was a damp day when we arrived but on entering the bar we were courteously welcomed and delighted to see a log fire which we duly sat in front of had apperoteafs and perused the menu. My starter, pot au feu of foi gras was delicious as was my main course of calves sweetbreads on a bed of crushed potato. The rest of our party were delighted with their food. When we finished eating we withdrew to the bar and the fire for coffee and digestives. All round great lunch in cosy surroundings."
