"We had dinner here to celebrate our friend's upcoming wedding. The restaurant is quaint with a low ceiling and a few tables indoors. There was also a deck area outside. The wild mushroom salad was amazing! I had their special Irish Whiskey Steak which was...wonderful and the portions were huge. My husband had the veal and our sons had the stag which were both amazing. And for dessert, blueberry tart. The servers were very attentive and made sure our wine/water glasses were never empty. A truly memorable evening!"

"Ex-Bar, so we had to get in! We've seen some local people working at our hotel. We knew we were in the right place. We ordered food. I got the Beef Tar-Tar. He's got wings. Wow, it was delicious! The best tartar I ever had! We left our Out Of Control Pin among the other relics there. When we eat, it became louder and louder. When we were done, it was just standing out with a line. Go early to get space. All ages all kinds of people!"

"This is a great little restaurant in the tiny village of Monstein. The only other one is in the lovely Ducan hotel. It's top class and casually elegant. We spent a week in the Ducan hotel just down the street. They have a swap arrangement...for evening meals with the Veltliner, a great idea, especially as the hotel restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. The place is traditional, immaculate, welcoming and has a great menu of local fare, beautifully cooked. Prices are reasonable given the eye-watering prices you can see in Davos restaurants nearby. The owner and staff could not be more welcoming or helpful, but it is clear that while friendly and attentive, they take their tasks very seriously indeed. You can eat on a lovely terrace at the side of the restaurant or inside. It was such a warm evening, we decided to eat inside, having done a 25 mile hike in 30 degrees. We were the only diners inside for most of the evening but the staff were equally attentive to us. It's really worth the twenty minute trip form Davos or the three minute walk from the Ducan to try it out. The village itself is just so beautiful, topped off of course with its own brewery. You just can't lose, eh?"

"Amazing place with stunning views, Amanda and the hungarian girls were wonderful, they could not do enough for us. Silvia, the owner was always present and was constantly sharing details of activities to do, which are plenty, she was so nice all the time and handled all our concerns or questions immediately with the best attitude you could ask for, we did feel special. The pool was perfect, the water is really warm and inside is warm too, exactly what our 3 year old would need, along with the play areas and the toys available. She learned how to bicycle during our stay"
