The venison carpaccio was served frozen. After complaining, the chef said it had to be like this in order to be able to cut it particularly thinly. The porcini mushroom soup as an alternative, however, was good. The carpaccio was then billed for. Very surprising given otherwise solid food. View all feedback.

Fantastic Büntner barley soup in the beautiful and rustic Veltlinerstübli.
Great place, great service, amazing food. Came to enjoy a family dinner during vacation, do not regret a thing. Cosy old building (but be careful if you're tall, there's a low ceiling). Friendly staff and the food was truly amazing, also glutenfree friendly (option even in desserts! delicious Schokoladenkuchen). Recommend having a walk around before dinner during sunset if the weather is good. You can also taste and buy local beer, if that's your thing.
