"At Trojan you are guaranteed great food and service. The owner is a top guy. Friendly, funny and an all round nice bloke. We go there every so often, that he pretty much knows what we want before we get to the counter. The flavors are amazing. A real top place.Totally recommend to everyone."

"My family and I went here after a trip to the art gallery and it was lovely. We got the small fries (pictured below) and pear and Berry slice if I remember correctly. In terms of gluten free options in the cabinet they had brownies and one other slice, plus the fries were gluten free. Fries were perfectly crunchy and my dad enjoyed the slice. Always a pleasure to go here"

"The aroma of Italiana greets you as you walk through the door, closely followed by the greeting by the staff. Website suggested you book, and that's a great idea. Even on a Tuesday night, it got busy quite quickly.<br/>Nice and warm, great service and excellent, honest food. <br/>We had one of their 20-odd pizzas on offer and it was great. A large size easily feeds 2 unless you are awfully hungry).<br/>Visitor, student or local, great place to.eat."

"I went there with 2 of my omni friends. I wasnt quite sure if they would know what vegan is, so instead started ordering by asking for the things i know idont eat to be swaped or out, she quickly said “oh are you vegan?” when i said yes she was super confident making suggestions to make dishes vegan. Tried the vegetable fried rice(no eggs), vegetable chow mein (she suggested to swap the egg noodles for rice noodles) AMAZING chow mein with those thick ribbon rice noodles, and the fried tofu and vege dish. All delicious and good size portion to share. She also came to me saying they are working on a vegan menu! So will be looking for it next time i come down this way."

"We drove to St Clair on a beautiful and clear but icy cold and windy day and decided to stay in the ghosthouse for an early dinner. Great decision. It was so cozy and warm inside and we had a beautiful view of the beach. The vegan duck curry was amazing and I can highly recommend the roasted dumplings as starters (they were crispy and tasted like a cross between sommes and dumplings). As we unpack the place, it seems to be very popular, luck we have early. I'm going back to my next trip to dunedin."

We took our chic visitors from Auckland to this beautiful place to prove a point that Dunners have some stunning restaurants. This place is in line with its service, food and coffee. Love how every dish is created with complicating aromas and textures. We all loved what we tasted and our visitors couldn't be happier."

"Wow Moiety is amazing! Had such a fabulous dinner sitting up at the bar so we could watch all the action. the Oysters were outstanding! Melted seaweed butter cooked over charcoal highly recommend. All of the dishes were super tasty and executed with such care and attention to detail. We will certainly be returning the next time we are in town."
