"This place needs to update their online posted Google hours, to their walk up hours of operation. We excitedly walked up during posted operating hours and we were coldly turned away by the hostess. We are no longer excited to experience this place. Get it together Mayas Tapas Wine."

"I’m not sure because we got there around 3:40PM(end of the day) or maybe only our chicken was bad but the chicken was really salty. Bought $1 grandma sauce(bigger size) but didn’t even get to use it because chicken was way too salty. The sauce was also nothing special. Wish I had a great experience for this $14 whole chicken but both my husband and I had the same opinion about their food. It’s one star for the long drive, pricing and quality."

"Absolutely breathtaking view of the valley and the flora of the island. I must have stopped all the few steps, just to make a photo of all flowers and plants and animal world that roaming the opposite. everything grows is marked so that they know exactly what they are looking for and believe that there is so much to see. I also loved the explanations of the leaders in the Hawaiian village huts. I wanted to learn more about living for locals on the island and the leaders were so friendly and knowledgeable. I have to ask a million and they explained everything perfectly. please do not give this place high! they can choose to go or pay for a ride (only cash,) but I promise to explore it worth exploring by foot. they also have toilets on the because and in the direction waterfall they offer changing rooms when they want to swim in the water hole, as well as a place to get water and food (accepts card and cash.)"

"On the way back from Waimea Falls we stopped in Haleiwa to get a quick bite of food. We chose Big Wave Shrimp for the reviews and menu. We tried the coconut shrimp, lemon pepper shrimp, steak plate and garlic butter shrimp. Every meal was good! From young to old, the 10 of us cleaned our plates. It came out hot and fast. The picnic tables were perfect to sit and relax and eat our meal. There were also many parking spaces."
