"I'm sorry, but this bakery isn't on the way. bland, strange tasting that contains ingredients that are not used in pasties and sausage rolls. many bread fillers make fling taste thick and sticky. little, no sweet in the baked goods. meat cake filling tasted strange and baked slightly sweet. feathers on birds. terrible products. would not recommend if it were through port augusta. very bad quality products and shop front is shut down. unfortunately no other bakery in itself."

"I have been coming to the Acacia Ridge Motor Inn for almost 5 years for work trips. By far the best place I have stayed for work. Maria and Andrew the owners treat me as family and make me feel welcome without a doubt. The rooms are great and the beds are comfy. There's a nice bbq area aswell as a pool for those summer nights. They also put on a fantastic buffet breakfast. Recommend to anyone who want an affordable yet quality place to stay in Pt Augusta. I'm sure Maria, Andrew, Diesel (The cute dog) and all the team will make you feel welcomed."

"Great service, so friendly and helpful. Delicious coffee, open early and good food specials. Only thing I 'd say is the 'egg wrap ' is actually an omlette we didnt read it like that but enjoyed the vegetarian alternative they made for us anyway."

"The gardens are a great place to visit. There are how the name suggest a variety of different arid land plants. Great parking and picnic areas with drinking water. The cafe was wonderful. Courteous staff, reasonable prices. Good coffee and they even cut my cake in half, so I could just share. A very nice gift shop, but a little expensive."
