"Would just like to say thank you to all your excellent staff who very attentive to our young family. We are recent visitors here are always made to feel very welcome with nothing ever too much trouble. The food is great good value given the current financial climate. The view of Draycote Water is simply the icing on the cake. A great place to visit."

"Must preface my review by saying the building is not in an attractive part of the town so I had no great expectations. Can't say there is much ambience in the restaurant but they make the most of what they have. The place was clean...and tidy and tables were all laid out professionally. Service was pleasant and faultless and the food was surprisingly good. As it was lunchtime we had the fixed price menu (not available at night) and I was pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced it was at for courses. Starters and main courses were generous, well presented and tasty, coming with sorts of veg. I think it would be unfair to mark the place down because of its location and outward appearance for the price the food was excellent and we had an enjoyable time out with friends."

"Visited again yesterday. Myself and my friend only ever have latte coffee. Go here probably every 6 weeks. Efficient and friendly service. Served at your table. Cakes look too die for, but not able to have them as one of us is diabetic. Restaurant very quiet, post Christmas. Try this place, especially now when it’s not so busy."

"Visited on a Saturday evening, booked table for 5pm. Lots of parking and dog friendly. There was four in our party and two were gluten free. Very good gluten free options. Good selection of beers and gins available and even provided water for the dog. Will definitely visit again if in the area."

"We've eaten here on numerous occasions and always thoroughly enjoyed the food. A few months ago they changed the menu, and took all the starters off that both my husband and I loved; mussels, chorizo, goats cheese brioche. We always have a steak here and raved about them, but the last 2 occasions we have been massively disappointed. We both ask for medium to well and they came out almost rare on both occasions. Swimming in blood on the plate when they come out is certainly off putting. Unfortunately we haven't been back, which is such a shame as before this we used to go at least once a week (and recommended it to friends who also started eating here . If you bring back the old menu, and hire a chef who can actually cook a steak correctly, (my non chef husband manages! we may be back."

"I would give this a 3.5 if possible as it was better than average but not quite very good. We had breakfast which on the whole was nice but the muffin wasn’t toasted for the eggs Benedict and the full English wasn’t quite as hot as it could have been which tells me that as they get busy they pre-cook and keep food warm. Would go again though."
