"I attended a birthday party here with 100 guests. They were able to deliver to the crowd. There were enough appitizers to go around for everyone before dinner.The food at the buffet table were hot and fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon, it was quite flaky and not dry. The roast beef served was not tough. The vegetables were not soggy which you would normally find at buffet tables."

"Kandahar Kababs is an Afghani Restaurant on Markham Road in Scarborough just south of Finch Av E. They have excellent beef and chicken Kababs served with salad, rice and naan on a large platter. We had the Kandahar Kabab (baby veal filet mignon), Herati (chicken) Kabab and Chapli Kababs. All the Kababs were very tasty with the Chapli very spicy. We hear that the lamb chops are also very good. Not a lot of choices for vegetarians when we visited but luckily we were mostly non-veg. Prices are reasonable with large portions for sharing. The rice was aromatic and piled up on the platter. Naans were fresh but difficult to eat without some sort of gravy. All in all, a very enjoyable and affordable meal. You order and pay up front and they call your order "

"Very impressed with the service of Sammy’s Family Restaurant. Got our food within 10 minutes of getting to the place. Never been here before, but would definitely go back for breakfast! I was surprised to see how busy the place was, I guess it just shows how great the restaurant is!"

"I always get their jerk chicken dinner, excellent seasoning and cook. The rice is so flavourful and somehow feels lighter (I believe they use basmati rice). They also have many fish and seafood options and daily specials. Jerk chicken shawarma is a nice treat here but you have to get there early for it as it often sells out. It's a nice busy little spot that often has a line but they are quite efficient and the line goes by quickly. Excellent neighborhood gem everyone must try. Prices are very affordable ?Parking: It's a busy parking lot but lots of available spaces"
