"We live locally and hadn’t been to The Bear for a while. We had the most delightful evening meal. The various flavours of the food were superb and the presentation absolutely excellent. The service could not be faulted, the server was attentive and very cheery and the atmosphere of the whole place was relaxed but very professional. We will certainly be back and recommending it to our local friends."

"Eat was nice, well cooked, and I guess I said what they were not on stock before ordering, but when my partner ordered a meal with meat dripping gravy and came with chicken engraving we had to request the right engraving as per menu. they have changed it for us, but this is the only reason I have not given 5 stars."

"Large selection of local and national beers. toilets clean and accessible (although about 5 steps into the gents) with a ramp down from the beer garden to the pub. we did not eat, but the foods come looked excellent and interesting. it took a long time to remove the table from the previous mozens, but it did not disturb us too much. dog-friendly, although a bowl and water bring, as we could not find. in front of the church there is a disabled parking right in front of the pub."

"Fantastic experience here this morning, my wife and I had the build your own breakfast with a pot of tea which was spot on and great value. The food arrived quickly and staff came to check everything was to our liking etc. Very dog friendly, had a sausage for the dog which they put in a dish and they also brought over a dish of water. Really pleasant experience, will be back soon to try the main menu 5*"

"Popped in there while friends were out walking to watch the Wales v Switzerland game. Couldn’t recommend the place highly enough. They were COVID compliant without being over the top and they were extremely competent and friendly. Absolutely top notch venue if you want a pint at reasonable prices with a friendly vibe."
