"Hubbie and I visited last week ..felt welcome as soon as we got in and bar man came to our table to advise the cocktail of the day which I picked and it was lovely Food was fantastic I had the seafood sarter which was lovely and then the beef burger which I couldnt finish as a huge portion and hubbie got the antipasti to start which again was a plateful of meats and he then had mixed grill which he said was fantastic . staff are very helpful and intentive. Another meal enjoyed"

"Had a midweek lunch here. No booking, but no problem. Parking IS a bit difficult. On street parking is not practicable. A wee car park across the road was almost full, but we managed to squeeze in to the last available space. Had seen good reviews on Google and was not disappointed. Ambience and service was smart, polite and efficient. Food quality amazing! So good! Reviews I read said it was quite expensive and, indeed, it IS on the higher end of the price bracket but, I think, justifiably so certainly a two course lunchtime menu for less than £13 not too bad at all. The whole place was very, very clean, including the toilets. Was driving today, so I couldn 't drink wine, but my wife 's glass of same looked fabulous and, apparently, tasted the same. As Arnold Schwarzenegger says I 'll be back!"

"I ordered from here on recommendation from my step daughter, I like old school barbeque sauce (the red one). It arrived really quickly and was piping hot. Singapore Chow Mein was delicious as was the barbeque sauce, rich and dark red. My partner had chicken fried rice and curry sauce, which he really enjoyed....and free prawn crackers...what more do you want. Happy customer"

"I dropped in with my granddaughter recently for lunch. The menu covers a typical selection of breakfast and lunch items including soups, sandwiches, baked potatoes, filled rolls, paninis, etc Despite the fact that it was busy on arrival we managed to get a table, place an order and have this delivered in a fairly short timescale, in contrast to some visits in the past when service has been slow. All the staff seemed to be working to a purpose, were friendly and efficient! I had a couple of rolls with Lorne sausage £2.95 each), whilst my granddaughter had a Coronation chicken sandwich which was served with a little salad, coleslaw and crisps £5.50). We both enjoyed our choices, although the salad dressing wasn’t a hit personal preference not to have it). Next up was a plain scone with butter £2.60) and a slice of carrot cake £2.30) with tea and coffee. The scone seemed to go down well but I thought the cake was a bit dry. Overall, decent enough lunch for around £20 for two. Unisex toilet was well maintained."

"Wow if this is what the future holds ? I've had better experiance in a mortuary. Only a tiny costa offers anything in the form of food and a WHSmith offering preacked sandwiches. The staff are slow. Theres no music, no TVs its absolutely shocking. First and last time i'm ever going. Maybe the petrolstation spar offers more ? Forget to mention the huge potholes on the way in and out. Microwaved bacon roll, a coffee and a small pastry over £10! Tip go to cairn lodge a few junctions south."

"This was my second visit to a Papa John's but my first at Abington services. It is not too bad. The customer service is first class and staff were willing to give us bottled water as part of the meal deal instead of soft drinks. The pizza is small but delicious. The meal includes potato wedges but I find them very dry and would appreciate a dip, if nothing else, but to moisten them for eating."
