"I visited on a Saturday afternoon, for afternoon tea. Warmly welcomed to this oasis of home baking and lovely atmosphere. Tables are shared and many cakes, scones and a fruit pie or two are displayed. Prices are very reasonable, the food is all baked by, and the café is staffed by, volunteers. My cream tea was delightful, cold clotted cream and jam served along with the scone. Friendly service and the staff were attentive and helpful as I asked for a few glasses of cold water on such a hot day. My thanks and appreciation"

"This food was the first we tried in henley. nothing too amazing, but it was a nice place on the high road with good service and good eating. I ordered lasagne and was very tasty. reasonable price. beautiful seating corner in the interior and exterior. but it was very windy, that day and we had to sit inside. good baked and cake too. would definitely recommend for a quick bite."

"Went here tonight for a birthday meal and celebration. Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival, the kitchen was being manned single handed, but all eleven meals came out in excellent time and all together. Food was fantastic, the chickpea and sweet potato curry...was genuinely amazing. The birthday boy was very taken with the glass that his cider was served in, so I asked the manager if we could possibly have or pay for the glass as a birthday souvenir, and without any hesitation he gifted us a fresh clean glass! Excellent customer service and relations, cannot recommend the boathouse as an amazing place to eat and drink."
