"We stopped in for lunch at Rose Thai thinking that we would love to grab a quick bit to eat after walking through the harmony arts festival. After ordering an appie and entree (two dishes total) - we waited and then waited some more. The wait staff were doing there best but at the 45 mark when our appie had yet to arrive we started asking questions. The table next to us seemed to be getting food but there seemed to be nothing we could do to get ours. At one hour mark our appie came (lettuce wrap) and then we waited another 30 minutes to get our entree (a curry). The lettuce wraps were quite good but the curry was average.The wait staff kept saying the kitchen was run off its feet - there was only one kitchen staff on. But as we were leaving the restaurant the chef came out for hugs and conversation with with the table next to us (the ones that had food arrive none stop the whole time we were waiting). Clearly these were VIPs and clearly our business wasn't wanted or valued. We won't be back."

"I used to go to Bon's regularly about years ago. Breakfast was good and cheap, and the decor was decent with old movie posters and framed photos of personalities on the wall. Not any more. The place has turned into a rundown pile of...crap. The breakfast...No more choice of meats. Just a piece of sandwich ham. The fried potatoes were just the skins they cut off to make french fries with the rest. And burnt to crap. All I could taste was char. You can't even get white toast. Not an option at The decor...Every surface in the restaurant (including the washrooms) is tagged with the most godawful graffiti. It looks filthy. The single washroom stall door is broken You have to hold it closed with one hand while doing your business. The for a breakfast and a coffee. for a coffee? They must have seen me coming. Bloody coffee costs more than the breakfast. Thank god I didn't get the offered refill. I might have had to take out a second mortgage. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. You'll thank me later."

"Nice outside table with a view of the ferry landing. Service was friendly and efficient. All we had was seafood soup and salad. The soup was full of shellfish and a large bowl was a satisfying meal."

"We booked this venue a long time ago for our wedding this Sept. Day went off without too much trouble, they accommodated us with using Tea Room for private ceremony after the real wedding ceremony. Professional staff, bar next door was open and able to...bring beer anywhere on the property. Great day and will come back for lunch sometime!"
