"Well,heard of the tea garden,wanted to try it for ourselves....sooo,off we go for a drive and stop for tea and desert.The view is spectacular from the window view table ,clean looking resturant, nice atmosphere our young server,"Emily " was very nice and attentive...bless her heart.The tea was so nice and "hot ".served so delicately with a teacup and saucer .makes you feel so spoiled.The desert...well it was not quite what we were expecting,and for the price we paid for it .well let's say,been there done that...we still look at it as a special m/d outing."

"This is a small-town, seasonal cafe. My husband and I have eaten there twice: last summer and last month. I had the fish tacos (which were not really taco-like, other than being in a soft tortilla), which were fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed the pea soup, which was the traditional Newfoundland style with carrot and turnip, and a nice dinner roll. No dumplings, though! My husband had fish and chips (good) and something called a "cod club", which was a piece of fried cod in a hamburger bun, with lettuce and bacon. It was reasonably good, but the name was a bit confusing. The desserts are excellent. This time we had the caramel cheesecake, which was fluffy, delicious, and not overly cloying.The menu is small enough to be achievable in a small place, and there is a pleasant view of the bay. The tables are a bit cramped."
