"We stayed in the adjoining Best Western hotel, in which the menu for Fog on the River was provided. We went for the butternut squash ravioli. Four of us arrived to a very large, almost unoccupied restaurant/lounge. The first disappointment - we ordered draft beer but were told by the returning waitress that "the draft taps are not working." We ordered bottled beer but when they came they were frozen - the waitress was able to find some which would actually flow. Three of us ordered squash ravioli - disappointment #2, and the waitress returned several minutes later to inform us that they did not have the ravioli. We said we would just finish our beer and leave. She came back in a few minutes to say that the chef had located the ravioli (where was it!?!). We stayed and started with nice crisp salads and then had three ravioli and one fish and chips. Ravioli was okay, although could have been served hotter (D # 3). The rose sauce was strange but okay. A bit later the waitress brought a tray of delicious desserts compliments of the house to make up for the problems."

"Went to Sweet Spot with my family for lunch. An apt name for this little restaurant because it was a sweet surprise! The sandwich was fresh and delicious. But, the tomato soup was amazing.....The best I've ever had! I wouldn't have thought that something as simple as tomato soup could be so tasty! Now I know different!The staff was friendly and helpful. My family enjoyed their lunch choices as well. We'll go back in a heartbeat."

"I never leave reviews, but I think for the sake of not getting food poisoning this review is necessary. Don’t eat here. The “cook” clearly couldn’t care less. I ordered a chicken salad. As soon as it was served the presentation was poor. I cut...into the grilled chicken and it was Pink. Uncooked. I asked the waitress if they could cook the chicken more as it was raw. She returned the dish, only for the cook to have shoved the plate in a microwave! (Bearing in Mind ITS A PLATE OF SALAD! Just made the salad warm, and chicken still uncooked. As mentioned the cook needs firing ASAP. I just didn’t touch the meal. We only paid, because the young staff were keen to appease."

"We stopped here after an epic mountain bike ride on nearby Bear Mtn. It was amazing. The coffee was strong and smooth - just perfect. We had crepes that were unbelievably good. They use local ingredients and everything is fresh. The staff are really friendly as well (even though we were covered in mud.) Prices are very reasonable. This will become a tradition for us - mountain biking and great Italian food."

"Subway is in same plaza as walmart. food is good. eating area usually needs to be cleaned up. i have been there several times and the pop machine (no matter what pop you pick ) sprays all over your hand. ive told them more than once but to date it is not fixed. tired of sticky hands. think i`ll find another location."

"When they come from maple ridge, they see the first shopping center in their right south) on lougheed hwy. and this subway. you have to be right. the latest subway in mission. it is very clean and beautiful made in....Staff is friendly. you know what to expect in a subway, no surprises. the ladies make a great job to prepare her sandwich. I like the new pepsi dispenser because it has water and foam water. I don't drink pop or juice. I noticed that there are paninis in the subway now! her new spicy chicken tortilla suppe has too much cumin. because it is a franchise, it is only the recipe that the headquarters have chosen. Mexican eating is not big on cumin, cilantro would be more like it. I didn't taste tortilla, there's something mais, but not tortilla, so the name is completely wrong. but again the suppen are a franchise thing. I must point out that the builders for such a new building have done annoying work with the outer one for this province. not with proper gardening this poor building shady at the floor. all green from the constant splash. the shoe box design looks good in California or arizona. here we deal with a lot of rain. I don't know why the urban engineering department let them get away without any nasty or real overhangs. do they not know our weather?"
