"I was on a girl's weekend trip in Wollongong and was struggling to find a place that was open for Sunday brunch. Luckily this place popped up and we managed to get a parking spot right outside the cafe! The staff were all very friendly - although it's important to note that you order at the counter and grab your own cups/water. I had the Pumpkin Katsu sandwich which was absolutely delicious and quite light too, perfect for breakfast! The sauces in all the sandwiches were delicious - they make their own chilli jam and peach jam too. Also tried some of the pork sandwich with pickled veggies - also very delicious! The coffee was also great! Overall a fantastic dining experience and would highly recommend! Possibly one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten :)"

"Had a couple of lovely pizzas for dinner the other night. Very nice light crusts, wood fired. Big crowd for a Wednesday with groups coming and going. Nice location in an old building with a great and interesting fit-out. Very attentive service with staff who obviously care. I wish this was our local restaurant. I'd definitely eat here again and would thoroughly recommend it."

"Four of us dined here Saturday night. We dined here a year ago and had a poor experience with slow service, couldn 't care staff and ordinary food. Following my Trip Advisor review, and that of my colleague, they responded with Give us another try. Things...have changed. No they haven 't. Still lousy service, couldn 't care less attitude, poor, sorry no, customer service. Their only improvement, the food was better, not good, just better. There are plenty of places that appreciate you custom, dont 't waste your time coming here"

"We arrive for lunch on Australia Day, and are delighted to find that dinner is available. The welcoming lady is very friendly, if preoccupied with the steak special which doesn't interest us! We sign in, and enter the bistro, which is a pleasant, spacious well lit area. It is not hard to choose from the half dozen meal items available. Our meals are nicely presented, hot and tasty, and we follow this with the dessert special - the only dessert, I think! - which is also very acceptable. We return the following night for an equally enjoyable experience."

"I have regular lunches here with friends, the food is always nice and the service is always excellent,Have had many dinners also you can book a table for dinner but not in large numbers,the girls bring your meals to your table which is a nice touch .Meal portions are very good.They don't have waitress as such and not waiters. but as stated above the girls bring the meals to your table."

"I had a burger called The Big SMac - tasty beef patty, onion rings, lettuce, pickles and Big Mac style sauce (and lots of it too). It was a cold winter day but one of the workers suggested a sheltered table and set up an outdoor heater to help ward of the cold wind blowing on from the sea.My wife had a bacon and egg roll which she commented was probably the best that she had ever had - she doesn't have them often, but it was still quite a compliment.Will definitely go there again, even on a cold, windy day."

"Dinner at the Char Char Bar & Grill was nothing short of delightful. Food was flavoursome, (meat oh so tender) and the service was attentive, but not overwhelming. The menu provides lots of options but probably not so many for vegetarians - this is a steak place and they do it superbly!There is also an amusing little list of cocktails. The "Gong Girl" is a particularly easy-to-drink one, but beware the punch it packs!Great place with great food, atmosphere and service. We didn't book but it would be worth checking before you roll up. Highly recommend!!"
