"We avoided the touristy fare offered in the Old city section completely. One look at the menus and we began our search in the lesser travelled parts of town. Visit Little Italy, 10 minutes from Old Montreal--- lots of restaurants. We chose I Sensi based on a few reviews of the menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in minimalsist contmeporary decor--think upscale bistro in NYC. Food is fantastic from beginning to end. Appetizers, seafood, pasta and desert. Everything house made and prices very reasonable. Owner Rocco is awesome, also the real deal! Friendly, knowledgable, funny, and service was excellent. Appropriate for children. There was something on the menu for each of ours aged 15, 13, and 9. Atmosphere relaxed elegance and comfortable. Not to miss if you are looking for authentic Italian food prepared in fresh and creative ways!"

"Actually the worst... I was so excited for this brunch as I am VERY obsessed with brunch. I have been to several brunch places in my area that are by far better than this place. Cool ambiance clearly over hyped. I don 't go to restaurants for the mood but the food. My food came cold, the service was absent. My cappuccino was the worst cappuccino I have had in Canada so far. So expensive for what the food was, i had classic eggs, potatoes and pancake. It was actually the worst I 've had, out of all the other places I 've tried. I 'm so disappointed in this place I 've taken the time to write this review. I can 't believe people actually line up for hours on the weekend to eat here."

"The food is better. More choices, more sea food. On the Nun's island, this is probably the best restaurant. Environment is nice, can see the St Lawrence river. Interior renovation is nice. In the summer, can sit outside.Food is good. The style is heavy. There is a bit sand in the octopus. Service of the main dish is a bit slow, but tolerable.Wine list is good. Recommend to other Nun's island residents."

"Celebrated an office Christmas party in the private room. The set up was beautifully executed, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Brendan and his staff ensured that everyone was taken care of throughout the night. They were friendly and made the night that more memorable! Thank you again!!"

"First time here. The omelette was huge. Coffee was good and the Service was fast and fantastic. The value was amazing. $16 for bottomless coffee and an omelette so large that I could not finish it. The taste was great. Definitely a place to go if you are hungry"

"We ate here Saturday night and had an excellent evening. Things didn't get off to a good start as I forgot that it was a BYOB but there was a Metro supermarket not too far away that had a good enough selection of wine and the white was all in a chiller which was a bonus. The place itself is cozy and has an excellent atmosphere. The menu is all up on chalkboards. Between us we had the duck hearts (7/10 I think they forgot to glaze them), the boudin noir, which was excellent (10/10), the coeur de cerf (deer heart), which wasn't as good as we thought it might have been given it was the most expensive item on the menu (7/10), and the pork cheeks which were amazingly soft and tender and flavorsome (10/10). We finished with local cheeses two of the 3 were excellent and the third good. Service was excellent all night. This is a lovely restaurant and it deserves to be ranked far, far higher than the 514th place it currently sits at."
