"Steaks all came out wrong, they did correct it but by the time it was brought out we weren’t hungry. Also informed during booking it was a birthday using open table app and I called the location and left a message , but it wasn’t acknowledged. Our server however was fantastic."

"We really enjoyed the food here. The Oysters were really quite great, I recommend to start with it if you like them. The Burrata was fantastic with its pistachios and olives. The rack of lamb had this smoked eggplant sauce which was absolutely magnificent. And the absolute best dish was the stuffed morel mushroom. It was also topped with crispy chicken skin which was a nice touch. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The prices are on the medium high side."

"Service was great. Most meals came cold but it took so long we were hungry and didn’t want to send 4 of 5 meals back. Two chicken dishes and both fish dishes were cold. Pasta was only hot dish. Salads and appetizers were great!"

"Might be one of the best patios in Toronto. Fantastic location, especially in the summertime. Service was friendly, but not super fast. Food was pretty good. The home fries were great. Good for kids outside) except the kids meals were kind of pricey in comparison to other. $12). But it is now one of my favourite patios in the city!<br/"

"This is close to home and a great place in the 'hood great hang. The food is very good I especially like the fish and chips I think is the best in the city I had. You also have good specials....a place to start a conversation with strangers at the bar. This makes it a good local hangout."

"Marvelous! Top-notch quality from top to bottom! It defines the standard of a fine dinning/steak house. I went there to celebrate my gf’s birthday. We loved the atmosphere there. Music wasn't too loud like some others. Every one of their staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent service all around! We ordered oysters, their featured fish and the NY Strip steak. The seafood was as fresh as you can get and the steak was one of the best I have ever had in Toronto. I found the food portion quiet generous too. I would give it a 6-star rating if the sixth star was available P.S. They have a parking lot next to the restaurant (East side). So don't pay for the expensive parking fee somewhere else!"

"Overall we had a good experience....however the tacos my husband and myself ordered were terrible. The tortilla shell was completely cold and the filling (I had fish, my husband had pork) was room temperature. You could do much better with the food. Those tacos were definitely not worth $15."

"We went to the Federal for brunch on a Saturday morning. There was a line up outside the door, but luckily we were the only table-for-2 in line, so we were seated immediately. We ordered the Eggs Federal and the Cubano sandwich. The flavours were amazing. When we bit into the dishes, we were totally blown away and thy definitely exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous and the definitely filling. Plus the service was great. The waitresses were consistently coming by to refill coffee. We highly recommend the Federal. We will definitely be back to try the other dishes. Though, I would recommend waking up early and arriving before 10:30 on the weekends if you do not want to line up."
