"We had over 30 people confirmed for lunch and another 20 for drinks (over 50 in total) but the venue we had booked weeks ago the Robin Hood hotel decided to half the space in their function room regardless of the amount of people attending our event!! They have been horrible to deal with so we now have to find another venue last minute !! Don’t ever trust the a Robin Hood with your function it’s been a disaster!!"

"Typical kiosk type food offering you'd expect at an attraction of this type. Certainly does offer some more quality options with coffee being good according to my partner. Very reasonably priced, don't expect it to be open for hot food later than your typical lunch hours - it won't be! Certainly a reasonable option and if you're doing a visit over lunch I'd suggest it's a good option that warrants me not packing a picnic like I would at other more expensive places. Cleverly built with a gate and up on a deck to ensure the native wildlife does not tuck into your lunch!"

"Good beer (the Athletic Club IPA was quite nice), great atmosphere and groovy service made the Athletic Club Brewery's game a strong one. We tried the seasoned wedges and spicy wings both were top-tier and left us wanting more. Over-all it seemed like a...great place to bring the whole team."

"Horrible experience. I ordered a chicken parma (cant bugger up a parma after all). After getting half way through it, I find that it’s raw. Worst case scenario for someone with an intestinal condition. We then let a staff member know, and we can only assume the staff member blew it up to management, because my wife and I were then accosted by the young (and clearly inexperienced) manager, threatened with security, and asked to leave. Management needs some serious training, particularly in how to deescalate a situation rather than escalate it, and the “chefs” need to reevaluate their careers of choice. A terrible shame. Word spreads quickly in Ballarat! I have since made contact with the local city council and with any luck inspectors will be there to prevent this from happening again!"
