We ordered chips to go with a picnic we had and they were delicious. Well cooked and massive serve for $7. Made to order to we waited and were not disappointed. It’s an eclectic place inside with Hollywood memorabilia. Look forward to coming back next visit to try other items. View all feedback.
What Ike Beier doesn't like about Apollo's Fish and Chips:
1/5.The reviews here are way off the mark. The last 3-4 times i've been here the food has been terrible. The food isn't cooked long enough, and the final product is anemic and tasteless. The chips are lifeless and have no taste. The fish batter kind of falls off as if it also wasn't cooked properly or made properly. The taste is spongy and doughy. It's a shame because the place is so close to my house. The only thing it has going for it is the atmosphere of the restaurant itself. Eureka fish and chips or Archer's have much better quality fish and chips.
Best in Town I cant wait till Apollos open again. Hey tonym stop the one start we know its you also New decor/ideas and please remove tonym rubbish decor. you are great at what you do keep doing it
Oily, greasy, old oil. Flake tasted like stingray. Much rather go to Down Souths, they are simply the best
When are you opening??? It has been closed for ages now, when are you guys reopening? Or are you even opening again?
We visited Apollo’s fish and chip shop and could not believe the value for money . The amount of chips we got for $5 was ridiculous . In Qld we would have paid $15 for this quantity of chips . Well done !
We had fish and chips from Apollos and enjoyed the meal. I even got to have pickled onions, which I love but you only get them at Victorian fish and chip shops it seems
