"Not bad pub grub. Definitely not the usual oily chips and thick battered fish and chips. Happy Hour 5 to 6 is amazing. Definitely cheapest drinks prices in Perth ever evening. Good vibe. Good band at night. Great spot to hang out with friends. The chips are good!"

"Really bad experience! Came down for lunch, $50 for two tiny serves of fishermans basket which had oil thin fish, store bought calamari and tiny prawns & scallops dripping of oil. so disappointing, my family and I used to come down all the time to freo just for Kailis, safe to saw we won't be returning any time soon."

"This is a cute space where a sushi train parades a variety of food for hungry visitors to Fremantle. I love my sushi - but this place needs a more attentive sushi chef, and greater emphasis on freshness. If the food has gone from Hot to Cold - then the sushi chef should know to take it off the train. If someones asks if its fresh - then the answers must be honest. I hope Pink Rice can step up,"

"Very well priced and fresh Japanese food. It's not the best Japanese feed in town but it is good. If you're after a cheap but nice and fresh meal this is the place to go. All meals are made to order and I have never had a complaint, been eating here for years."

"While this place is good as far as Dome goes if it is busy I would suggest you find somewhere else. Myself and a couple of friends have been here when it is busy and food coffee has taken an exceeding long time to come out. The food and coffee were good but the wait was bordering on excessive. Great place if it's quiet but if busy not so much."

"I had the noodle with pork chop which was good. My partner had laksa which was thick and creamy and he enjoyed it. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee as well which was thick bitter and sweet, what Vietnamese coffee should be. It was a good meal."

"So many years of visiting this nook in the Fremantle market. It is time that this squeezy cafe thinks of a renewal. Certainly not a restaurant. More of a small 'tuckshop '. Cobwebs have formed on things above the eye level. Wait time has increased even for those who are notified by SMS that the queue number is up for service. Strange that this Japanese eatery should slip in its service standards. With so many years in operation, some thought should go into expanding the space. Ordered the prawn dumpling ramen. The dumplings were dry with minimal fillings. Ramen quantity overpowers all other ingredients. Staff taking orders are no longer as pleasant as they used to be. Probably creating a more assertive stance in view of guests who try to find a place or place orders. Customers look up to faded pictures of dishes creating a bottleneck because the attention is not focused on people around them. Noticed a carrier bag attached to one of the pictures that states 'reusable bag ' with a price. Rather adhoc way of advertising that only confirms that the eatery is not concerned about ambiance and only wanting to sell the most dishes based on historical reputation. Unfortunately, that reputation is eroding fast."
