"The sky blue restaurant is a benchmark between travelers and volunteers who spend several weeks, and even months, in kolkata. one of those places you've heard or read references over and over again, little information you're looking for, even long before you've reached your destination. the blue sky is located on Sudder Street, the street of the backpackers par excellence, in whose surroundings the largest of the city's cheap hostels and restaurants are gathered, fundamentally centered on this type of pblique. in l you can eat almost everything: from the clsico chicken tandoori, to western dishes such as salads, chicken burgers, sandwiches or muesli with yogurt and fruit for breakfasts, more difficult to find in other traditional restaurants. In fact, I dare to say that this type of dishes are the most xito among these people who spend long periods of time in the city, and can get tired of Indian food. In my case (and what I consider to be an authentic fan of Indian food the blue sky meant a line of life when I took an intestinal inflammation that prevents me from eating anything cooked with oil or spices. In the blue sky they prepare a delicious grilled chicken (the princess's chicken, I think they called it,) with verduritas and potato puré that was my bisic food during several das, until it was completely recovered. the blue prices of the sky are slightly higher than those of popular restaurants where thali leaves less than a euro. but we're going to put that a tandoori chicken costs two or three euros, which can be considered expensive for a precarious traveler and with the jotsima economy like me, it was; but in some cases it is appropriate to loosen the cinturn, especially when the health is at stake. However, what makes the blue sky a special restaurant is not the food, but the people who surrender in it. to the one in the middle, after a morning of hard work, the place is full of tired, hungry and willing volunteers to share the experiences lived in that special city that is kolkata. at dinner, more of the same: and it is that the blue sky, more than any restaurant, is a real social center that no one passes by kolkata can stop visiting, at least once."
