"It was my wife's choice to eat here as she said they had a good range of food and reasonable prices. It was Thanksgiving Day evening but we got a table straight away. Not necessarily a positive sign. We were seated in a comfortable leather booth facing the big screen TV. We would have been happy with no TV but at least it was a ball game with the volume off. I like sport but conversation with my wife was the priority. The decor was fresh and clean and the bar had a vibrant water feature so very pleasing to the eye. But what about the food? I have to say there was a really wide range of food types. My wife chose candied salmon while I opted for chicken, broccoli and cheese with a mild curry spicing. I love curry and like it spicy but this milder version was very tasty and won me over immediately. The spinach and artichoke dip we shared was also really good. Portion size was generous too and service was attentive and friendly. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. When the waitress asked us if everything was OK it really was! I was wary that this may be a 'jack of all trades' restaurant but I have to say I really liked it and will be back to try the chicken pie, or a burger, or maybe pasta or ......."

"Thank goodness this restaurant opened a Surrey location as I have quite literally found excuses to go to Chilliwack in the past just to have lunch at that Chilies location! The food at the new Surrey site is consistent with the original Chilliwack one and the favours are beyond amazing. If you need a tip on where to start with the menu, try the lunch item #11 with chicken (Mee Grab Lard Na) - I have yet to find a better version at any other Thai restaurant. The decor is nice and the staff are very helpful and personable. All in all, do yourself a favour and check this place out - you will not be disappointed!!"

"We have just ordered the family 6 cod special with the voucher that was just sent out. the cod was about palm side, but it was thick and you can say the quality is better then other place, because the fish was fresh and the fish was not crushed. the fries we received were huge as the coleslaw and wetar sauce. it was our first time to order from them and it was amazing. special scream to the recipe cash girl who is very friendly and sweet. I think she was the one who wrote, "have a great day" on our bag. I wish I have their names, as they are awarded in customer service. She told us that tonight her last night was at the place when she moved to brickyard. is it about late teens, early twenties? as I said, it was our first time, but it will not be our last time. keep the good work, young!"

"We have ordered take out from Golden Medal many times over the years and it has always been excellent. The food is good and there is always enough left for a lunch. Tonight was even better than normal. I think there was something different about...the egg rolls and it was a very good different."
