"One , the whole decor is kind of hokey, artificial... Two, my wife was asked what she might want, and as she was saying 'I think I 'd like to try... ' she was cutoff by the cashier who started barking at the guy who couldn 't figure out which decanter was coffee... Third, and most important Nearly $50 for two lunches and both the corned beef and the pastrami lacked flavor, to such an extent, I wasn 't convinced it was just cheap ham. The soups also were barely average. This is not an exaggeration. We both sat there and said 'we should have just driven into the city for Manny 's. The meats reminded me of something out of a blister pack at the store. I 'm sorry"

"We ordered a lot of appetizers. the dal ka was a pure, very brothy lentil suppe. it would be good paired with roti brot if they wanted a really light lunch. the owners said that their broth was prepared with milk, but the roti is milk-free. the sweetssamosa was delicious, but I am not sure if I should order it again because I have forgotten to ask if they use a common frittier. the gobi manchurian (fried, fried cauliflower) was good, but it tasted something like huh, I just don't know if it was my fantasy or not. I need to ask her how it is prepared before they order next time. the sweet biryani (seasoned vegetables) was very good and a great part. our absolute favourite dish was the aloo gobi (high recommended, the carrots and cauliflower with tomato, ingwer, garlic and crumbs cooked is a delicious dish that is very tasteful, colorful and tasty. it comes with white rice. I will order the aloo gobi and roti brot again. the owners were very nice, I would just ask a few more about the preparation of food etc. to make sure that there is no crosscontamination etc. in certain directed. otherwise this is a very good Indian food option for vegan people in the distant western suburbs."

"Wheaton Meat Co is a fantastic, LOCAL one-off meat shop. We have been here many times and I finally felt compelled to give them their well-deserved review. Usually busy expect to wait a few minutes. Getting served you don’t feel rushed while choosing among the vast array of meats. The proof is in the quality. From the grill, the smoker or in the kitchen I’ve never been disappointed by the meats from WMC. Fun labeling too!"
