"We had a day visit to Amberg. At time Schon-Kilian was the top choice at Tripadvisor. Contrary to the rating and compliments, our lunch quality did not impress as much as the other contributors. Besides us no one eating there. The bread, soup and risotto were fine. But the pork chop was rough. I am sorry for that. Perhaps, dinner is served at a much higher level. But ours was a day trip and lunch was the only possibility."

"The inner not too rustic and gottseidank not folkloristic. the service fast and friendly and the publikum as should be, most probably masters and we, a few tourists. a fine bourgeois midday table with delicate wildragout (brain sau) and perfect semmelkloß, wrinkle with fine panate and slightly warm kartoffel salad and meerrettich carving was served slightly sharp with bratkartoffeln golden yellow. overall judgement of us: time and again!"

"Four of us went out of our way to eat in one of my favorite pizza restaurants. Unfortunately we were not as satisfied as we were on our last visit to the restaurant, still looks like before. what changed was the service. a small number of customers, the service seemed unattended and safe. the pizzas are still huge, but the torfscante. there were about cm exposed crust on the circumference. I can never remember seeing so much in any other pizzeria. regarding the taste, it is still good, but the service and the worth do not justify the minute we made to eat there. we'll try next time in amberg."
