"After visiting the Cascades du Sautadet in the afternoon, we drove back to Avignon to stay the night. We looked through the recommendations and settled on L'Ubu for the vegetarian/Vegan options that people mentioned.We parked at the JEAN JAURÈS and walked though the old city. The GPS app did not find the address correctly but we found the place through old school technique ...looking at street markings!There is seating both inside and outside on the street, we chose to sit outside since there is small canal and the ambience is amazing in a summer evening. There is usually a set menu for the day and our waiter was very energetic is proposing how they can customize it for us.The food was really tasty and portions were decent too, we ordered only one dessert to share!Great service, good food and amazing ambience for a summer evening. Highly recommended!"

"According to other reviews and in the mood for a place with white rice, after we do not have it for 8 days in France, we decided to visit this restaurant. When entering it is a beautiful place, somehow like a Eurasian fusion feeling. We had first dinner seats, so it was somehow empty. I ordered a plate with salmon nigiri, salmon avocado maki, these Yakiniku sticks were wrapped with strips around cheese (French accent on a Japanese meal, eggplant appetizer (was REALLY good, miso soup, bowl of white rice, along with a little seaweed salad. It was really good! My wife had Udon with Tempura. The curious thing was that there was no diving sauce for the tempura, unlike where you would find almost everywhere else (can be a French thing? I have Japanese food in various "States, Japan, Singapore... My son had a sashimi dinner and he said it was really good. I could take some photos, then workers and managers came to us to say that picture was not allowed. Oh, well... somehow, the experience has deflated. So I can say that I ate Japanese food at least once:"
