"I was often and eating is always excellent! love the grilled chorizo, francesinha, crushed dry salted cadry and her coffee! the atmosphere is amazing, very relaxed and the staff always happy. you never feel haste to end your meal. there is no better and more authentic Portuguese place in edinburgh than tugas amor!"

"My friend originally wanted to go to the Chinese buffet at the COSMO, but they were too busy and the queue was long. We needed to eat something when we went to the tattoo, so we had no time to wait. Outside was very busy with people who had a drink and we wanted to go to Nando. But once in the mall we could see that the Playfair had more space/seat inside. We found a place simply and quickly ordered. Although super busy, it was easy to order and food was delivered quickly. Although I was back home in various Spoons stores many times, I never had the curry before, so I was a bit comprehending what was to be expected. Don't worry. The food was delicious and filling. I thought the part was a little on the small side, but the Naan Bread and Poppadoms fill you. Good prices and good value for money and I got my alcohol free Kopperberg fix so I was happy. If you're not fussy and don't mind, easy, delicious food, then Obspoons will be yours to the place. Toilets are clean, but the sinks are a little funny placed low and the taps are at an odd angle. Apart from that, good place to eat."

"Best family restaurant, excellent food. we have visited this place for a family meal, booking is essential to get our slot with table. eating was excellent as usual, children's menu was good to treat the little ones. "Wow, it was a good choice! the filet steak was absolutely tasty, one of the best I ever had! was medium to perfection, juicy, tasty, no fat or gristle cooked, only on the spot! I'm sorry, but that's why the photo shows that my filet was already started it was so good! the inner is tiny, so would be advised before the book. the outside is tiny, you could just go by and miss it unless you look, but believe me that you are missing on the best steak when you have come past this place!"
