"We were on a weekend trip to killarney just at the onset of spring and travelled from toronto. By the time we made it to the park it was afternoon and we were super hungry. U had read reviews about this nice homely place and decided to visit for lunch. We had a big freshly made veg pizaa. It was delicious served with love from the owner. We were really thankful to the lady as no other restaurants were open by then (as such there is hardly anyone in early spring out there).I would recommend a visit to the Pines Inn restaurant in this cute little town."

"Like many prairie diners, this restaurant tries to have too many items on the menu. The result is mediocre often pre-packaged food that is usually disappointing. Supposedly there is a chef but he/she is obviously not able to use his/her training. Keep the menu small, change it often and do things right would be my advice. The wings are quite good but other appetizers are less enjoyable - very mundane and not very tasty. It would be nice to have good steaks and fabulous salads and make it a place where you want to go to celebrate a special occasion."

"Really disappointing despite their self assigned World Famous name and the big line up of people to match. No idea what the fish was but judging by the small size of the piece maybe perch. Tasteless and ridiculously expensive. We ordered 6 pieces of fish which were the equivalent of about half that when you think about a regular fish you would order. Add one large fries and $50 was the total bill for a portion that would usually feed 1 2 people. Oh and they forgot our order....although kind of wishing we had said nothing and gone elsewhere. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"
