"This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. The owner is an amazing guy and the food is delicious. This is where the famous nutcracker drink originated from. My favorite dishes are the squid fried rice, chicken and pesto pasta. But everything on the menu is great! If you have never been here, you are definitely missing out. The ambiance is lively and it’s a great place to grab a meal."

"Meh. Just came back from my holiday lunch with the co workers...courtesy of the boss.<br/ <br/ I had extra spicy, General Tso's jumbo shrimp pretty good.<br/ Co worker #1 had: tofu with mushrooms looked good<br/ Co worker #2 had: orange chicken looked OK<br/ Co worker #3 had: vegetable patty looked very good<br/ Co worker #4 #5: I don't recall at all<br/ <br/ We had chicken dumplings vegetable rolls as appetizers. <br/ The dumplings were aaaight the vegetable rolls were pathetic.<br/ <br/ All in all my dish was pretty good...the rest of the stuff I easily could have ordered it all at the local chinese joint by the b/f's spot for a 1/3 of the price."

"We were in chinatown and had demand for yum cha, oriental garden was randomly selected from many in the opposite. it was not busy, but to be honest, I prefer it as it adds to the liveliness of the restaurant. there were also no trucks so we ordered a la carte. it was their standard Yum Cha elements, nothing to write home, no one was exceptional nor was it bad, but it helped fill the empty."

"We ordered the House special dinner for two, for $59.00 per person. This includes HALF PEKING DUCK and choice of 1 entree for which we ordered the LOBSTER WITH GINGER AND SCALLIONS. It also includes appetizers and a soup, CHICKEN WITH PINENUTS, SPRING ROLL, BARBECUED BEEF AND STEAMED DUMPLING, for soups the options are WONTON SOUP as well as the SHRIMP RICE SOUP. The DUCK is obviously the specialty at this restaurant, the skin was crispy and the flavor was quite authentic but the meat was a bit dry. I really like the CHICKEN WITH PINENUTS and the LOBSTER was just okay as well as the soups. The restaurant was very full and noisy and the tables can be quite close to each other but the staff did a good job keeping everyone attended quickly. SPANISH: We ordered the house special dinner for two, for $59 per person. This includes half a PEKING DUCK and a starter for which we ordered the LOBSTER WITH GINGER AND CHIVES. It also includes appetizers and a soup, the appetizers include CHICKEN WITH PINE NUTS, SPRING ROLL, BARBECUED BEEF and COOKED DUMPLING, the soup options are WONTON and RICE WITH PRAWNS. The DUCK is obviously the house specialty, the skin was crispy and the flavor was quite authentic but the meat was a little dry. I really liked THE CHICKEN WITH PINE NUTS and the lobster as well as the soups were good alone. The restaurant was quite full and very loud and the tables are quite close to each other but the staff does a good job serving all the customers quickly."

"Very weird vibe here. Seems like the restaurant was on its last legs. Some of the portions are small but food was decent. How come they lost their liquor license? Staff seemed pretty stressed out. Restaurant looks like it was once really nice but has not been kept up at all."
