"I was over with my wife when we saw it. his Egyptian, we thought we were trying. we were pleasantly surprised. the shawarma meat was tender. that was full of taste. the sandwiches were huge. Before we left, we got some falafels to try. they were the right Egyptian falafel with wild beans and green crumble. these are almost impossible to get out of Egypt. most falafels in Great Britain are kichererbsenbasis. next time we're in exeter, I'm back for a falafel sandwich. we didn't try the sweets or coffee as we were so full."

"I love it here. Would give it 5 if I could. Really appreciate the variety of vegan pizza available. Pizza is delicious and affordable (and enormous Definitely share one with a friend. Sometimes can get quite busy."

"A typical Wetherspoons. Very busy and crowded. Really quick service. Was able to take a wheelchair user in without problems but it was a bit too noisy for our liking. Food was fine."

"Wow. Completely underwhelmed. If you own the Lounge bars please train your staff. Rude and thick. Not hard to take an order for two breakfasts a tea and a oat latte. Got a cold breakfast two coffees and as I am lactose intolerant a morning on the loo cos they couldn’t even get the coffee order correct. For a fast expanding company they are forgetting the hospitality basics. Can’t recommend."

"Really Really bad service. They insisted I ordered for collection (which I never do). When I phoned, he was quite rude and not helpful, very dismissive. This is not the first time we have been let down and had to chase our order. Will NOT be going there again!!!!!!"

"Absolutely lovely café! The staff are friendly, the good is lush and varied, the desserts amazing! I loved how there were separate seating areas for privacy and they even have nice toilets with a baby change. The view of the canal is a bonus as well. Just a real nice little gem of a find!"

"We’ve never been to a full on high street mega Harry Ramsden restaurant, only to what we presumed were branded franchise chip cafes at motorway service stations, most recently but still a decade or more ago at Exeter. The Plymouth/Devonport delivery only arrangement is I suppose one further down the ladder but it has all the regalia. We’d been gardening and drinking and this was the local delivery option with the least waiting time and an air of reliability. We could have but didn’t bother tracking but they arrived much quicker than expected. Tidy robust paper bag, no fancy insulation but the contents were still hot and there were surplus handfuls of salt finger and sauce sachets. (Much better than those places that wrap crisp fried stuff in plastic that leaves it all soggy and steamy when it arrives! . The fish was marginally dry and the coatings of the scampi a bit hardened but the meal wasn’t bad for what we paid. All these things are enhanced by copious amounts of decent ale and outdoor plonk."
