"Stopped here for lunch (booking advisable) after a morning hike! The food was AMAZING! Best home cooked food I’ve had in a pub for a very long time! We had the homemade burger which was delicious, very tasty and the pie of the day which was gammon, honey and mustard! The chips are homemade home cooked ones and were lovely and crispy on the outside soft and fluffy inside! Would highly recommend stopping here! Not only a pub with amazing food but also a pub with amazing views!"

"Stopped for a mid ride refuel. Really friendly, good espresso and prompt service. Food was hot, fresh and we'll made. They dressed the side salad which in my book press or above most places. Will be making it a café stop in future"

"Went in for lunch myself and my wife few months ago forget exactly when. the cafe looked nice inside the girls serving were nice we found the menus hard to read though , they were on the wall on boards over the far end of someone else's table which meant I had to stand looking over them. Would have been more comfortable if there had been menus for each table. When I enquired about the coffee the young man whom I think might have been the chef?? Not sure, who was serving as well treated us like we were a nuisance and gave us a really wiery response great customer service when the food arrived the timely my dish was smothered with coriander which I do not like when I mentioned this the same man said with complete arrogance and rudeness that I should have asked when ordering in short the food minus the coriander when picked off was nice coffee nice girls nice I would not though sadly be going back there because of the arrogant tiresome customer service from the chef/ serving man shame"

"One of the best meals i’ve ever had, turkey was cooked well and there was a good amount of stuffing and cranberry sausage. chips were cooked perfectly and the gravy was amazing!! sister had the pulled pork and cheese baguette, she really enjoyed it also came with a nice side salad. fruits reasonably priced and latte was super nice. will be back"

"Just love it here, literally no complaints at all EVER! We have been so many times for pancakes, Sunday lunch, baguettes, oatcakes and cakes. Cakes are delicious especially the cheesecake and the food portions are amazing and you can take what you didn't eat home. Staff are always so friendly even when they are rushed off their feet and so pleasant with my children."
