"Worth the drive! First, I arrived to meet my girls at 5:55. (had reservation at 6.00 was seated immediately and our waiter hurried to get us the happy hour drink before it ended. Manager came by to check on us. Service was excellent thank you Benny!! Food was outstanding. Highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts, the Rustico cocktail (dangerously tasty!! and the asparagus with it's perfect hint of wood fired flavor. The creamy Parmesan salad was so tasty and enough for all 3 of us to share, thank you Benny. Between us, we had Chicken Marsala, Filet and the Sea Bass. All were excellent I had the Sea Bass and the only complaint I could make was it was a tad salty for me. However, perfectly cooked. Next time I will get the Filet. We ended the evening with the Turtle Cheesecake that had some kind of whiskey cream and toffee. So good. Something worth mentioning is that the temp. was perfect also...I get warm very easily and also can't stand it when you are at a restaurant freezing. All round 5 star experience!!. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Great food and service to match. My family has been going to Empress for years and like many others had noticed a sharp decline in quality in the recent past. We tried it again for the first time in nearly a year and were blown away at the improvement. Everything was fresh, hot and huge portions. We all agreed that it is better now than it ever was before. Glad to see the turnaround and will definitely be back."
