The quality is superb, the staff is super professional, the tasting menu is well worth the cost.My wife and I moved from Los Angeles and miss all the upscale dining options and Birch is among the best places we’ve been to anywhere. "The food wasn’t as good as used to be. They’re missing the kick that traditionally represent Hotel Madrid cuisine. The ambient was pretty good except for a group of people little noise with pretty bad words in Spanish. When the group left everything was great. The Red Sangría as always the best in town. "I went here with a small group for brunch this weekend. I have never been to the Milwaukee location but I went to the Lake Geneva location all the time when I lived there. Simple has a fantastic menu with locally sourced ingredients. Everything always tastes amazing and is healthy too! I love the Korean BBQ breakfast bowl and anything they offer with sweet potato in it, but you can't go wrong here because everything I've tried has tasted delicious. There is usually a wait but it's worth it! We got lucky this weekend and had less than a five minute wait for our table of four. I will definitely be back!!"

"The view from the patio is overlooking a lovely lake/pond in the distance. Very nice. Ordered smoked salmon off the breakfast menu. Very good and fresh. "Stick with the Tacos at Mezcalero. Its a shame my party was served bland cardboard chips when the provided salsa was good. The Baja Style Fish Tacos while being slightly over dressed had a great fresh flavor along with the side of corn elote. The Combination platter provided to be underwhelming with both the chicken mini chimichanga and the chicken enchilada drowning in cheese while the taco al pastor was delicious. My party also ran into a few issues with the Service as two of the members food orders did not make it to the kitchen until after most of us were served.
